Brother’s new and compact mobile printer range that transforms from mPOS receipt printing to penalty ticketing
Printing on the move has now become more compact and connected with the latest mobile printer range from Brother.
Offering a high level of customisation tailored for different sectors, the range comprises of four new devices – two 2-inch models; the RJ-2035B and RJ-2055WB, and two 3-inch machines; the RJ-3035B and RJ-3055WB www.brother.ie/printers/rj-series
The printers are lightweight, making them comfortable for users to carry around all day and are suitable for a range of industries including public safety, fashion retail and grocery retail.
Retail end users can print receipts on the shop floor, acting as additional tills during busy periods, and demonstrate an enhanced customer-focused approach. The printers also address the growing demand within e-commerce, for example, increasing efficiencies within the click and collect process.
The compact structure means these devices are suitable for printing a range of penalty tickets including the issuing of parking notices, speeding tickets and littering fines in the field.
The series boasts a wide range of customising options including a shoulder strap, rechargeable lithium-ion battery for longer use in between charges and a car adapter for those working on the road.
Bluetooth connectivity is available on all four devices and Wi-Fi connectivity is on the RJ-2055WB and RJ-3055WB.
The series is fast printing; up to 4 inches per second (ips) and high-quality, printing at 203dpi. Most printer command languages such as ZPL2 are also supported.
The range is durable with a drop protection of up to 2.5m with an optional case, making it suitable for robust workplaces.

The RJ models will be available in Ireland in July with prices ranging from €268.00 to €495.00
