Fast and affordable printing – Brother Ireland launches new laser range
Brother International Corporation (Ireland) Ltd (Brother Ireland) is launching a new range of laser printers and all-in-one machines for businesses that require fast and affordable mono printing solutions.
Over 60%* percent of small and medium-sized businesses in Europe still need hard copy records of documents, nearly three out of four need to print documents for clients*, while at the same time making a significant effort to reduce printing-related costs*, according to a recent Europe-wide survey carried out by independent research company IDC**.
 
In light of this market requirement for fast and affordable printing, Brother launches its 12 models in this new range to the Irish market, developed for small and medium-sized businesses and larger corporate organisations.
 
Four printers (HL-5440D, HL-5450DN, HL-5470DW, HL-5450DNT) and three all-in-ones (DCP-8110DN, MFC-8510DN, MFC-8520DN) are aimed at small workgroups of up to five users, while two printers (HL6180DW, HL-6180DWT) and three all-in-ones (DCP-8250DN, MFC-8950DW, MFC-8950DWT) are aimed at large workgroups of up to 10 users.
 
This new range is ideal for high-quality, high-volume printing with print speeds of up to 40 pages per minute. It also includes a series of cost saving features such as ‘toner save mode’, ‘booklet printing’ and ‘low power consumption’.
 
Other key features available in this range include:
Large paper capacities of up to 1,050 sheets
Automatic 2-sided printing and scanning
Network and wireless connectivity
LCD screens including 12.6cm touch screens give ease of use and setup
Super high-yield toner cartridges
Strong eco-credentials - Blue Angel, Nordic Swan

Retail prices for printers and all-in-ones range from €229 for the HL-5440D to €829 for the MFC8950DWT.
* 62.2% of respondents said their company still needed a hard copy record, 74.6% said they needed to print documents for clients, 45.3% said their company had made a significant effort to reduce printing-related costs.
 
**Survey conducted by IDC in January 2012 among 1024 influencers on hard /software purchasing
decisions in small and medium-sized businesses across 13 European countries (including Russia).
