Brother Ireland was established in 1958, and is a member of the Global Brother Group. We market a diverse and versatile product portfolio including printers, fax machines, multifunction centres, digital copier printers, typewriters, electronic labelling machines, stamp creator machines, embroidery machines and both Domestic and Industrial sewing machines, together with Brother original consumables and accessories.
At Brother Ireland, we are constantly reviewing and up-dating our product range with new products and services. Our brand range of office products will compliment and SoHo our Business office requirements and environments including standalone wired Ethernet and wireless Ethernet.
In our Information and Document business we have been expanding our product range by incorporating laser technology within printers, fax machines and multifunction centres, resulting in significant growth in unit sales, primarily in the European and U.S. markets. Next generation inkjet technology is also being developed strengthening our line of colour and MFC products. We have been developing new content and services in step with the diffusion and expansion of next generation communication devices.
In our Personal and Home business we handle electronic stationery and home sewing machines and we offer products primarily intended for personal use in the office or home. In electronic stationery Brother was the first to introduce labelling systems widely found both in homes and offices for their ease of use and high quality tape, made possible by our exclusive laminating technology which has given us the top market share. We also create innovative products for the home sewing machine market. Brother Sewing Station concept making sewing fun by providing software for customers to create designs based on images downloaded from such devices as digital cameras and scanners.
