The ENERGY STAR is a voluntary label, identifying to consumers that products meet certain standards regarding energy efficiency. In 2001 the European Union signed an Agreement with US EPA to introduce the ENERGY STAR in Europe Energy Star standards are revised approximately every two years and are always focussed on the top performing machines in the market.
Efficient use of energy is important to us all. All Brother Imaging Equipment complies with the voluntary Energy Star requirements, only the best performing products can gain Energy star compliance. All machines have Power Management which profiles the power used according to the user demands for example if the product is not being used the machine will enter sleep mode which significantly reduces energy consumption.
Where applicable machines also print on both sides of the paper automatically (duplex). Over the average product life an Energy Star compliant unit will save Energy and printer paper costs. |
