Brother receives international design award for innovative printing solutions
Printing technology specialist, Brother has won the internationally renowned iF Product Design Award 2010 for its LED printing solutions, which have recently been launched in Ireland .
This is one of the world's largest design competitions and two of Brother's new LED printers have been commended for innovation and quality of product design by the International Forum Design:

The iF Award is based not only on external appearance of the product, but also judged on criteria such as, functionality, innovation, safety and environmental performance. The judging panel features industry experts from around the world.
Phyllis Fox, Major Accounts Channel Manager at Brother Ireland, explains: "Having recently launched our new LED range in Ireland we are delighted that these products have been recognised for their design innovation. Our LED range offers small businesses a compact, yet high quality printing solution, as well as providing strong environmental credentials, with both Energy Star and Blue Angel eco-certification."

The iF Product Design Award 2010 received a total of 2486 entries, from companies in 39 countries. The awards are split in to 16 categories and Brother won in the ‘Computers' section, which includes PCs, notebooks, PDAs and games consoles.
Brother will receive its awards at the renowned Deutsche Messe Exhibition in Hannover, Germany. The winning Brother products will be displayed at the exhibition, which runs from the 2 March until August 2010 and is expected to attract 250,000 international visitors.
