Brother Creates New Colour Compact Range for Small Business
Global printing giant Brother have created a new compact LED colour printer range, Business Colours Compact, which includes all the functionality of larger colour laser printers, within five space saving models designed especially for small to medium sized businesses and small teams.
From November 2009 Irish businesses will be able to take advantage of high-speed, network-ready, feature-packed high quality mono and colour printing, without the major investment and space required for a large colour laser machine.
In a bid to ensure that small business doesn't lose out on major developments in print efficiency, Brother has included a range of "big business" features within the range, they are:
• direct print from USB
• scan to FTP
• wireless networking
• security options including SSL on all models
• job logging, counter and print restriction options
• quick reprint
• manual booklet and poster (up to 25 pages) printing
• watermark printing
• memory expansion to over 500 MB
This pioneering new range includes three multifunction machines and two printers aimed at networks of between two and ten users, with prices starting from €221.00 ex VAT. The range has been created with cost-efficiency in mind, including the first Brother colour engine to adopt the ISO/IEC19798 standard for quoting toner yields, and a separate toner and drum for efficient replacement.
Phyllis Fox , Major Accounts Channel Manager Brother Ireland , said: "Our Business Colours range now offers exceptional colour printing value and extensive features for businesses of all sizes. From large corporates to small start ups we offer an efficient affordable solution designed to help our customers achieve the very best results."
The range also offers the reassurance that each product has been developed to achieve a low eco footprint and holds the ENERGY STAR energy efficiency mark, with an application for the world's strictest environmental standard, Blue Angel certification currently underway.
