Yes, with the PrintSmart SecurePro Mail2Print function. Using Brother’s security technology, documents can be emailed to the printer as attachments, and a secure PIN emailed back. The printer will start the job when that PIN is entered.

The ideal way to manage access, authentication and usage is with a secure PIN or ID card reader. Designed to integrate with our PrintSmart SecurePro software and our Secure Function Lock feature, users can be issued with a bespoke card, or you can add an NFC chip to your existing door entry cards.

No. The Brother Universal Driver allows you to take care of all your devices with one simple installation. Alternatively, you can use Microsoft® Installer (MSI), to automate the entire process by creating a file that will transfer all the Brother software a user needs onto their PC.

There are several options, one way to you can decide who can print, fax, scan and copy, and who can’t, with Secure Function Lock. Users will only have access if their unique PIN or NFC access card allows them. With some Brother devices, you can also use Active Directory or LDAP to manage authentication too. Alternatively, you can use the Brother PrintSmart SecurePro software to control how people print and scan.
