Brother Ireland launches high productivity professional scanner range
Technology specialist Brother has launched two new professional document scanners aimed at supporting small to medium businesses with a requirement to process bulk scan jobs quickly.
The new PDS-5000 and PDS-6000 scanners feature the highest capacity paper feed ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) in their class at 100 sheets.
That makes the models perfectly matched to businesses with frequent, large scanning needs where there is a mix of document types to be digitised.
The flagship PDS-6000 is the fastest in the Brother professional document scanner line up to date - boasting speeds up to 80ppm (160ipm) with high quality image resolution at up to 300dpi. Sister model the PDS-5000 achieves scanning speeds up to 60ppm (120ipm) at up to 300dpi image resolution.
Engineered for continuous workflow with expert paper protection features, PDS scanners manage fast incoming bulk paper jobs so only one sheet is processed at a time, for maximum efficiency.
Advanced image processing features prepare scanned images; improving Optical Character Recognition (OCR), saving time and ultimately money by reducing the need to do this manually.
These features are ideally matched to businesses with a high scan requirement including legal, insurance and banking.
PDS models provide professional scanning performance with features including:
